<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As an Account Executive you will be tasked with management of accounts that are both regional and local in scope covering key Canadian Markets in the distribution channel.  The position is to be based central to the business in Ontario, Canada and requires travel 50% or more of the time depending on current tasks assigned. We are looking for this individual to live in the greater Toronto area! 

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This position requires prior direct sales experience and advanced account management skills.  Specifically, advanced negotiation and communication skills; account strategic planning; deep B2B supply chain/operations knowledge; general business acumen are all key traits of what drives success for this role.  The role will involve creating and executing assigned business plan goals anchored in structured account management principles and quality business relationships. 

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assigned customer portfolio will be dependent upon experience and candidate capabilities.  Success in this role will provide advancement opportunities within global Cooper operations.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Job Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Execute the company’s objectives in quota sales attainment, new business development and effectively growing the business commensurate with Coopers strategic plan initiatives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Working with customers to maintain and build strong customer relationships while maximizing Cooper’s sales and profit returns by achieving business plan objectives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Creating and executing three-year business plans for the key accounts within the territory.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Working with our forecasting and production teams to accurately align and realize sales potential.   
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Managing monthly supply chain collaboration for accounts
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Managing customer events and promotions to ensure our messaging is maximized.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Creation of a process to effectively and consistently communicate relative program and sales analytics 
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Maximize Medallion (AD program) opportunities thru customer engagement.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Developing relationships with all key stakeholders within key accounts.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proactive preparation to understand and have an ability to communicate the business outlook and key drivers on a weekly or as needed basis.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Aligning and executing “Key Strategic Initiatives” of Cooper and our key Canadian customers.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic Qualifications:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field Degrees needed.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Natural disposition to have a constant bias for action
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Works successfully in a self-managed environment
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Advanced business communication skills including highly developed negotiation skills.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong understanding of business finance
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Positive attitude and demonstration of taking initiative.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain and logistics.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Advanced forecasting abilities
