The Customer Service Representative position is responsible for managing the order fulfillment process for our dealer network using Cooper Tire's internal order management system to process and manage customer orders. The ideal candidate must have the ability to learn quickly and be able to efficiently handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner. This person also must have the ability to function well in a fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to provide world class customer service
  • Process customer orders and changes to existing orders
  • Respond to phone calls and e-mails in a timely fashion
  • Review open order reports for each customer / proactively provide order status updates
  • Proactive in reaching out to assist other areas in Customer Service as needed
  • Must be able to resolve issues regarding all areas of Customer Service
  • Work cross-functionally with Pricing, Credit and Supply Chain as needed
  • Assist the Manager of Customer Service in efforts to establish and maintain internal processes and controls related to order management and demand fulfillment


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Very high attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a positive attitude, be adaptable and work well in a team environment
  • Must  have the ability and willingness to gain a solid understanding of Cooper’s products, business processes and  Sales / Marketing strategies
  • Individual must be highly organized and able to multitask efficiently
  • Capability of handling high volumes of incoming calls
  • Must have the ability to be flexible in work hours and schedule as necessary
  • Must be an Intermediate to Advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Must be able to quickly learn SAP


Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience a plus
  • Previous Customer Service or Customer Facing job experience preferred
  • Experience with Pivot tables  and data analysis
