Apply your creative design talent into engineering solutions. As a member of a multifunctional design team, you will conceive, design, and help launch into production the next generation of tires. You will connect, learn and share throughout the product development process including idea creation, concept design and design development with many different cross functional teams including Tire Engineering, Materials Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Mold Design and Tire Manufacturing.
You should have some experience in 3D modeling, have excellent attention to detail, be well organized and able to balance several program needs simultaneously. Your communication skills will help you to present design options effectively, grasp concepts quickly and drive issues to resolution.


You will be responsible for the 3D CAD models and supporting detailed drawings of the new tread patterns and sidewall styles for many tire applications including Highway Touring, Off-Road Terrain and Commercial Truck for new tire introductions. You will support the multifunctional design team to yield exceptional new product launches together.  At the end of an incredible team effort, your work will provide the confidence to millions of people traveling through their life journeys on Cooper tires.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Candidate should have ability to conceptualize in 3D images.


Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Experience using 3D CAD software.
