Our Product Manager role is an exciting opportunity here at our headquarters in Findlay, OH that will be reporting directly to our Director of Product Management. We are excited to bring a new member to the team that can take our product portfolio to a new level in the tire industry. To be successful in this role it will be critical for you to be a passionate, strategic minded, and self-starter.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management and growth of the product portfolio
  • Develops and executes strategic marketing plans for product including but not limited to:
    • Identifies Consumer and Customer needs leading to new product / market opportunities
    • Creates and executes segment strategy driving growth and improved margins
      • Develops and maintains 10 Year Product Roadmap
      • Provides consumer and market insights to the Technology team to assist with the development of innovative technologies for future growth
    • Works product opportunities through cross functional teams and the Gate process focusing on:
      • Alignment to strategy
      • Market and competitor assessment
      • Consumer research
      • Product performance definition
      • Technical alignment
      • Cost analysis
      • Financial business case
      • Risk assessment
      • Complexity reduction
      • Quality improvements
      • Fit in the supply / operations organization
      • Cost reduction
      • Purchasing optimization
      • Commercialization partnership with Category, Marketing Communications, Digital, Sales, and Training


  • Owns segment product life cycle from product development, maintenance of current portfolio, and retirement of older products
    • Defines product positioning, features/benefits, and naming
    • Develops pricing for all new product added to portfolio
    • Supports Sales through training, meetings, and product literature
    • Supports customer relationships including customer visits
    • Proactively identifies and overcomes business issues by working collaboratively with key operational functions


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, or engineering plus 5 to 10 years’ experience in these fields
  • Five to ten years’ experience in Product Management/Marketing
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
