The Analyst – Truck, Bus & Radial (TBR), Commercial Operations candidate will be a proven, career focused leader within the North America organization and will possess a propensity to utilize data and business insights into business solutions for both Cooper Tire and its customers.  The ideal candidate must have a diverse background enabling them to help bring value to complex business opportunities.  The Analyst – TBR, Commercial Operations is a function of the Cooper Fleet Solutions Team, which collectively supports the Commercial business organization, including Original Equipment (OE) TBR, TBR and PLT National Accounts, TBR Bolt-On and Replacement channels, and TBR Truck Stop Partner channel.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience to solve complex business problems, providing innovative solutions that create win-win results for both the customer and for Cooper Tire.
  • Lead special projects to improve service to both our internal and external customers.
  • Work in a cross-functional environment among multi disciplines to bring value to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible to ensure all inquiries are addressed completely and all transactions necessary to support the order fulfillment process to meet our customer's expectations.  
  • Act, in conjunction with the Operations Team, as a primary internal contact point for customers and the sales team regarding functional support, including but not limited to pricing/program support on TBR, TBR/PLT National Accounts, invoicing, credit/accounts receivable, and aspects of customer service, tax, and supply chain, including availability and product uses, promoting solutions and services.
  • Manage day-to-day priorities of the order process. Reviewing documents and orders for accuracy, inputting Customer orders in SAP, providing documentation and information regarding orders, invoices, pricing, proof of delivery, tracking, products, returns, and other policies.
  • Resolve requests that are received via phone, email, fax, mail, and via social media.
  • Communicate responses verbally and in writing in an accurate, consistent, professional and timely manner.
  • Work as a team to complete all Customer requests in a consistent, timely and accurate manner.
  • Continuous education and understanding of policies and procedures, products, and programs.
  • Make sound decisions that consider both the customers and Cooper Tire's best interests.
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Provide necessary support to all TBR programs and functions.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other relevant field and/or relevant internal work experience
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of Customer Service, Pricing, Credit, Accounting, Finance, or related experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task due to the cross-functional nature of the department
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior SAP experience preferred
