The Sales Specialist for Cooper Tire will represent the company to ensure full communication located in the Mid-Atlantic Region area. This territory covers Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia. This person will work with customers on the implementation of sales promotion displays and all advertising materials available. This role is the first step towards becoming a Territory Manager for Cooper Tire.

 

Other job specific duties include:

  • Provides value-added activities by performing other duties such as supplying sales leads, sales blitzes, presentations and general sales duties
  • Provide scheduled reports for Channel Sales Exec as well as Program Distributors and Dealers
  • Will attend trade shows and conduct training
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customer contacts
  • Individual must demonstrate commitment and competency to meet company sales and profit objectives and sell within multiple channels of distribution
  • Must have a good financial and computer acumen, multi-tasking skills, proven decision making skills, solid negotiation skills and be a team player.
  • Participate actively in Sales Blitz’s in or outside their assigned territories.
  • MUST BE WILLING/ABLE TO TRAVEL FREQUENTLY, UP TO 75%

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 1-3 years of previous sales experience
  • Must have strong communication skills and be able to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing/able to travel frequently, up to 75%
  • Must be open  to relocation anywhere in the US
