It’s an exciting time to join Cooper Tire. The company has launched a Commercial Transformation effort to build industry leading commercial capabilities, particularly in digital consumer engagement.   The vision is to create a digital team that drives forward Cooper’s digital experience to make the tire buying experience better and identifies and shepherds digitally generated leads throughout the marketing funnel. The team will use an entrepreneurial and agile approach to continually brainstorm, innovate and test new strategies and tactics to reach these goals. Cooper Tire’s global and North America headquarters are in Findlay, OH. However, this new digital team and related functions will be established at Cooper’s new marketing and sales innovation center (Royal Oak, MI).

 

Job Responsibilities:
The Social Care intern will work directly with the Head of Social Care and closely with the consumer experience team. The job functions of the Social Care intern are:

  • Engages and resolves product and/or service-related issues through social media channels (forums, owned/earned channels, retail site ratings and reviews and live chat).
    • Determining the cause of the problem and preparing the best solution to solve the problem
    • Answer inquiries about products
    • Following up to ensure resolution is satisfactory
  • Contributes to the strategy and optimization of the social care team
  • Will help with the implementation of the new Live Chat tool
  • Assists with the integration of the chatbot on our website.
  • Responsible for reporting of the chatbot on Facebook Messenger and website bot
  • Will have exposure to the full marketing team and information interviews to gain additional experience.
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a College or University
    • Major is in marketing, communications, social media, organizational communications, business.
  • Experience with Social Media Management Systems
  • +1 experience of engaging with consumers.
  • Experience with social conversations in the following places:  forums and/or communities, owned/earned channels, retail site ratings and reviews and live chat.
