The National Fleet Solutions Manager is responsible for managing TBR national fleet accounts.  This position covers 8 states in the southeastern US and requires 60%-70% travel.  Prior sales experience is required.  Account management with large fleets (>300 power units) is a preferred skill.  Success in this role will provide advancement opportunities within global Cooper operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing the company’s objectives in quota sales attainment, new business development and effectively growing the business commensurate with Coopers strategic plan initiatives
  • Identify and engage large fleet targets building strong relationships while maximizing Cooper’s sales and profit returns by achieving business plan objectives
  • Build and present product and program proposals to large trucking fleets.
  • Developing relationships with all key stakeholders within key accounts.
  • Act as a consultant for any and all questions/inquiries related to tire technology, applications and selections by leveraging personal knowledge and Cooper’s internal team of experts
  • Proactive preparation to understand and have an ability to communicate the business outlook and key drivers on a weekly or as needed basis
  • Creating and executing annual business plans for each account

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform is preferred
  • The position is located in Southeastern United States
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal, written on the phone and in person
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Positive attitude and demonstration of taking initiative
  • Ability to manage customer relationships with an attitude of a consultant and partner
  • Previous tire/automotive experience
