<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Commercial Tire Sales Specialist for Cooper Tire will represent the company to communicate commercial tire sales programs, sales initiatives, products, and, organize and coordinate sales efforts primarily with bolt on or commercial servicing dealers.  This position will report to the Replacement Channel Leader. This Specialist will cover the South Central region.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This role can provide advancement to a National Account Sales Leader role or other similar level role within the Commercial Tire business at Cooper Tire.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Job Responsibilites:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provides value-added activities by performing other duties such as supplying sales leads, sales blitzes, presentations and general sales duties.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provide progress reports for key accounts within region as well as competitive activity within region.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Will attend trade shows and conduct field training.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develops and maintains relationships with customer contacts; tracks tire performance as necessary.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Individual must demonstrate commitment and competency to meet company sales objectives and sell within multiple channels of distribution – Replacement Wholesale and/or Bolt-On Channel, and, Fleet Channel to small fleets.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must have a good financial and computer acumen, multi-tasking skills, proven decision making skills, solid negotiation skills and be a team player.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">   Basic Qualifications:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA a plus
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">3-5 years of previous tire sales experience; preferably commercial tire sales experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must have strong communication skills and be able to provide excellent customer service 
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must be willing/able to travel frequently, 75%
