The Position: Digital Marketing Specialist

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for all items related to social media engagement including strategy development, content development and measuring customer engagement and ROI. This individual actively engages with users both online and in-person to build brand awareness and engagement at the consumer level. 

This is a key role in our long-term strategic plan and we are looking for a person that can grow with the organization. 

This position can be located in California (Lake Elsinore) with eventual relocation to Ohio or Ohio (Cleveland/Akron) with extensive travel to our California office on a short-term basis.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy, Engagement and Analysis

  • Develop and implement social media strategy
  • Search, post and plan unique social media content
  • Develop and execute the MT content/social media calendar
  • Maintain MT social media presence
  • Works with the marketing team to develop large scale social media campaigns that build brand popularity and loyalty
  • Measure engagement of digital marketing campaigns
  • Actively engage with users on MT social media sites (currently FB & Instagram)
  • Digital marketing analysis and reporting

Key Results:

  • Deliver regular content under deadline pressure
  • Quantify & present value of social media and other digital marketing tactics
  • Active and consistent engagement with customers in person and on-line

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business or other related field
  • Prior experience managing Facebook, Instagram or other social media accounts in a professional capacity
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience developing or implementing a social media strategy strongly preferred
  • Willing to travel 10% of the time including weekends
  • Some automotive performance aftermarket experience preferred
