<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Job Summary

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Pricing Analyst is responsible for using complex data sets to help the organization determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals while also providing tactical support to implement and maintain these programs. Primarily supporting the product team, this role will work cross functionally with many facets of the organization including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Accounting, and Operations. This position must be able to work independently, develop key findings in our data, recommend action items and communicate those action items to company leadership.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Assists product marketing, advertising, and sales management in developing pricing strategies and special programs to help determine appropriate pricing on new product lines and price adjustments to existing product lines resulting in a competitive price.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsible for proactively measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of pricing strategy to suggest and implement changes as necessary in collaboration with product, sales and finance teams.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsible for tracking and reporting pricing and margin trends by product.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Controls all pricing inputs within SAP system (increases/decreases).
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prepares and distributes price files to sales and other internal departments.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsible for analyzing and enforcing Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) for applicable product lines.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Works with Finance and Customer Service to implement internal requests for price adjustment such as sales deals, employee promos, sell out deals, and special P.O. pricing.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Works with Finance to determine correct price, inputs any manual changes, and documents approval for all pricing discrepancies and billing blocks initiated by customer service.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsible for preparing and submitting ICC Controls for approval on a monthly basis.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Required experience & education 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Attention to detail is crucial to this role
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Familiarity with Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel and Access
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">3 to 5 years relevant work experience in Finance, Analytics or related field
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Able to work cross functionally to acquire proper analytical intelligence to support decisions
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Able to work in team environments
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">SAP experience preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Tableau experience a plus
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Performance aftermarket/automotive/power sports experience a plus
