As an Analyst, you will be responsible for inventory control and accuracy, along with administration of various inventory related system such as SAP and the upcoming MES. The Analyst will roughly split their time the course of the year on MES Subject Matter Expert and Inventory Control.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control
  • Inventory level Analysis
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LMAT and its related production processes
  • Identifying potential area’s for LMAT and Inventory movement improvements in the process
  • Influence key users to drive change that align with the organization’s objectives
  • Perform special projects upon request
  • Point of contact for all MES inventory related inquiries
  • Conduct Annual Physical Inventory (typically conducted over Christmas shutdown)
  • Clear blocked tires and negative inventories
  • Monitor & Conduct routine cycle counting
  • Ensure inventories are being cycled 2 times per month
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts on Raw Materials identified by purchasing as critical
  • Conduct or Oversee monthly cycle count of all Raw Materials
  • Review mixing confirmations and accuracy in MII.
  • Perform Inventory adjustments & analysis
  • Perform Root cause analysis to determine cause of inventory gains & losses
  • Address issues by implementing process improvements to resolve causes
  • Provide Timely Inventory Reporting
  • Inventory Level Trending
  • Inventory Adjustment Reporting & Analysis
  • Days on hand report sent 2-3 times a week for purchasing/mixing/receiving/lab
  • Manage the ordering of Oil tankers for Oils with daily monitoring of the tank farm levels
  • Learn and become the backup for the Rail Car Process
  • Perform SOX controls related to inventory and material movements


Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree
  • Must have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business, Supply Chain, or Accounting Degree
  • Plant production process knowledge
