The Bonus Processing Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of biweekly bonus payments for all Cooper process and Jesco maintenance employees at the Tupelo Plant.  They will coordinate, enter and process information from production departments, Information Systems, Human Resources and Payroll. This position also handles all general secretarial duties for the Industrial Engineering Department. 

 

Job Specific Duties 

  • Must be familiar with the Tupelo Bonus System as it applies to the various individuals, groups and departments.  Answers, explains and clarifies system and specific calculation questions to management, leaders, employees and their spouses.
  • Works closely with the production departments, Information Systems, Human Resources and Payroll to collect and process production data and all other information necessary for the timely and accurate calculation of production bonuses.  This includes the proper application and initiation of more than 40 “REMJOBS” and “DARGAL” programs.
  • Keeps up with transfers, promotions and bonus eligibility of all process employees.  Edits Cooper Work History files at proper time to assure employee bonuses are calculated and applied correctly.
  • Keeps Spec/Rate File, Department Account Table and Bonus Job Number Table up to date.  Builds current work history file as required for bonus calculation.
  • Reviews daily edit listings looking for errors, omissions and unreasonable entries.  Follows up to verify entries and correct errors and omissions.
  • Enters production reports and verifies accuracy of time and production claims.
  • Using spreadsheets and a calculator enters data and calculates bonuses for various pools, teams and subgroups of employees.  Transfers results to proper data files.
  • Generates and distributes weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance and bonus earnings reports.  Generates unique performance reports when requested.
  • Has a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, data base and Dargal software.  Creates and modifies Dargal reports and spreadsheets.
  • Types IE correspondence, job descriptions, standard practices and reports from notes using word processing software.
  • Sets up and maintains files for standards, standard practices and general IE department records.  Selects and arranges for storage or microfilming of records and files.
  • Enters data and performs statistical analyses using PC and standard software as directed by engineers.
  • Maintains appropriation request status.  Forwards locally approved appropriation requests to Findlay.  Distributes copies of approved appropriation requests to appropriate personnel.  Enters approved appropriation request information into MAPS to generate job numbers when requested

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting/Business or related field
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment
