Position Title:                                                   Plant Accountant

Hours:                                                                          Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Location:                                                          1804 South Green Street, Tupelo, MS 38804


Summary of Duties:     


  • Responsible for plant asset / project accounting
  • Responsible for maintenance spend reporting / accounting
  • Assist in forecasting and budget planning of fixed assets and maintenance cost
  • Analyze and provide management with timely and accurate reports
  • Maintain key accounts / documentation to meet the SOX requirements
  • Provide support during year end physical inventory
  • Develop costs for new and/or redesigned products
  • Monthly Cost Center spending review and reporting
  • SAP Month End Closing Activities
  • Perform fixed asset accounting, including project capitalization and asset disposals




Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3 years accounting experience in the job offered or any related occupation.  Applicants must also have the following demonstrative experience with:


  • Fixed asset accounting, project capitalization, and asset disposal.
  • SAP (Systems, Applications and Products) or Oracle.
  • Microsoft Excel.
